Collection: Gareth Hayward | Artist

Biography

Gareth Hayward is a British contemporary photographer who creates limited-edition prints that are, quite simply, depictions of the thoughts and feelings important to him at that moment in time. His inspiration and influences are extremely varied, from taxidermy to brutalist architecture, and he believes this is precisely what keeps his photographic collections exciting and unpredictable.

"I do not wish to follow a conventional thought process, which is why my work can change and evolve quickly. From a contemporary interpretation of an 18th century hunting scene to a haunting image of a pheasant suspended in a glass dome." - Gareth Hayward

His artwork is organic, with ideas transforming in ways that may not have been his initial intention. As he explains: "I have learned to accept and trust in this process."

Gareth Hayward's limited-edition photographic prints are sought after by collectors of contemporary photography, still life art and conceptual fine art looking for distinctive, thought-provoking images that defy convention.
