Jules Wild is a contemporary British artist and the founder of A Beautiful Curious, based in her studio in Gloucestershire. With a degree in ceramic design, a background in marketing and more than fifteen years as an award-winning floral designer, Jules brings a unique blend of creative disciplines to her distinctive floral art.

When the Covid pandemic brought her award-winning wedding and event flower business to a halt, Jules returned to her artistic roots, creating artwork as a means of escapism and play. After sharing her work on Instagram during lockdown, the overwhelming response led her to commit to a full-time career in contemporary art, alongside her wedding and event floral work.

Her original floral artwork blends the romantic beauty of florals with the gritty energy of urban art and graffiti. Working in mixed media collage, Jules combines stencilled, painted and photographic elements to create vibrant, colourful and edgy compositions that celebrate nature's fleeting beauty and the impermanence of city walls.

"I love the ebb and flow of life, the changing seasons and that nothing is ever, really static or stable. Flowers are equally fleeting in their beauty, as is the impermanence of heavily graffitied walls, pasted with layer upon layer of torn posters and peeling club flyers. They tell such an interesting and diverse story. I am also a huge fan of colour as well as mixed media, and through a process of layering and painting, cutting and pasting, my aim is to blend all these disparate elements together into something unique, vibrant and ultimately 'everlasting'." - Jules Wild
