Danic Lago, a Brazilian artist based in London who has lived abroad for 20 years, is a modern alchemist. A poet with a creative and inventive mind, which unites her experiences and wanderings around the world in works of art. Having lived in Switzerland, London and Mexico, Danic has always been an explorer: a collector of small treasures, textures, and experiences. Beginning her work in the fashion world, she specialised in trend research, with experience working with European and Brazilian designers.

The collages are the portrait of her unique view of the place that she inhabits in the world. The artist today works with intricate manual collages, a mix of materials. Mixing elements such as paper, wood, watercolour, ink, acrylic, gold leaf, fabrics, dried leaves, mosses, pieces of trees and stones, her pieces reflect the world - it has a Brazilian touch, a Mexican vibe, and a European breather.
