Why collectors love it
A perspex-mounted box print from Danic Lago's Tarot Collection, transforming her intricate 3D mixed media collages into accessible, collectable form. Temperance embodies a harmonious blend of opposing elements, symbolising balance and patience and illustrating the delicate equilibrium between the body and soul. The pouring of liquid from one cup to another emphasises the importance of finding middle ground and avoiding extremes, which allow us to seek strength and serenity in everyday life. It serves as a reminder that in moments of chaos or turmoil, maintaining a calm composure can lead to greater inner peace. The originals are meticulously layered collages of paper, wood, textiles, pigments, gold leaf and organic elements, where discarded fragments are elevated into poetic compositions of beauty and meaning. Mounted behind perspex, it arrives ready to display, no framing needed.

About the artist
Danic Lago is a Brazilian artist based in London, working with mixed media collage. Her practice is rooted in over 25 years of creative experience developed across Switzerland, Mexico and the UK, shaped by an early career in fashion trend research and close collaborations with European and Brazilian designers. Her work explores strength and emotion shaped by the intuition of the divine feminine. Using textiles, colour and found objects, Danic creates layered compositions that function as visual poetry: handmade narratives that invite reflection, curiosity and personal interpretation, grounded in the physical world yet resonant with spiritism and otherworldly beauty. A modern alchemist and collector of small treasures, textures and experiences, she brings a Brazilian touch, a Mexican vibe and a European breather to every piece.
