Biography
Bob & Eve is the creative pseudonym of British textile artist Corinna Wilson, based in Brighton. Founded in 2020, the name Bob & Eve originates from the words 'bobbin' and 'weave' referencing Corinna’s passion for working with textiles and wool.
Corinna trained in Illustration at the University of Brighton before building a career as a commercial illustrator, designing for clients including high‑end brands and department stores. Growing up in a household surrounded by tapestries, cross‑stitch and patchwork quilts, Corinna developed an early affection for traditional textile crafts. Eventually, she returned to these roots, founding Bob & Eve to explore textiles as a contemporary art form, combining her illustration skills with a love of handcrafted materials.
Bob & Eve’s artworks are characterised by bold colour, texture and a distinct sense of playfulness. Many of her works draw on everyday life - British humour, social commentary, and nostalgic references - often expressed through bright typography or witty phrases. Her mission is to brighten the world with humour and light‑hearted social commentary - artworks that spark joy, conversation and connection while reimagining the role of textiles as fine art.
