A collage which celebrates the influence and beauty of the album cover in all of it’s diverse glory. Music has always informed and played a huge a part in Steve Rawling's creative life and this work pays homage to the enduring art form. As a child, Steve spent hours looking at the cover art on fold-out gatefold sleeves, he references music and sleeve art which has played an important part in his life. Musical delivery may have changed but the cover is still one of the defining factors in how we look at and perceive particular pieces of music . Filled with references to personal favourites and artistic classics, 12-33 is a thank you to all those creatives who’ve played a part in it’s story.
