This is Marrow's alpine world at its grandest scale: at 77 × 110cm it is more than double the size of most prints in her catalogue, a statement piece rather than an accent. It belongs to her celebrated ski series, the same world as 'Fresh Mountain Air' and 'Lets Go Off Piste': whimsical characters, chairlifts and vintage ski culture reimagined in bold pop colour. The artist herself loves winter sports as subject matter because skiing "can look as effortless as it is difficult and as beautiful as it is perilous", and this edition has already sold out at one European gallery, so availability is thinning.

Anna Marrow has been working as a printmaker, illustrator and image-maker for 20 years. She studied Fine Art at UWE Bristol, then Communication Design at Central Saint Martins (MA with distinction, specialising in illustration), and now draws at home and prints at Spike Print Studio, Bristol, working with household paints, biros, fine liners, pencil crayons and screen print. Most of her prints begin as biro and ink drawings in her sketchbook, are developed into collages, and later become screen prints. She has been commissioned by The Guardian, Selfridges, Heals, Polydor Records and the BBC, has been selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition (2024) and The Other Art Fair, and describes her concerns as "detail, specific drawing, surprising colour, composition, and believable story telling".
