A fine art photograph of London's most iconic power station, created using a double mirroring technique that completely isolates the architectural elements from their urban surroundings and makes the Power Station the absolute dominating centre of the image, an impression similar to the experience when walking below it. Sambraus has followed the redevelopment of the site over the last few years, documenting what may be the last big piece of real estate in central London becoming an icon of a small city within the city. The work earned Sambraus a place on the British Photography Awards shortlist.
