A fine art photograph of New York's tallest tower, the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan, captured in Sambraus' signature style. 'The "blue hour", when the sky is not completely black yet but a deep blue, is one of the most magical times of the day'. His creative process involves returning to a subject sometimes several times, often with a tripod for long exposures, until the light, the time of day and the angle are exactly right.

About the artist
Daniel Sambraus is a British/German photographer, based in London since completing photography studies at the London College of Communication in the mid-90s. With a deep background in photojournalism and studio still-life stock photography, he has spent years concentrating on the "perfect" image with maximum detail and resolution. Moving away from commercial photography and concentrating solely on personal projects since 2018, he is now more interested in the abstract aspects of the world around us, often working with a mirror-image technique to isolate architectural details and create imaginary urban spaces. All photographs are for sale as limited editions.
