From a distance, 'Deliverance' may appear to be a depiction of a typical butterfly. Take a step closer and things become more interesting: Yap uses skulls and imagery sourced from vintage erotica to create the patterns adorning the butterfly's wings. This is the showstopper colourway of the mini family: the butterfly printed in rainbow holographic foil, so its wings shift through violet, green and pink as you move past, never quite the same colour twice. Electric Gallery describes it plainly as the butterfly printed in rainbow holographic foil on white matte laminated paper, and as the artist says of the mini format, "printed digitally and looks just as lush" as the larger hand-foiled editions that sell at £450.

Originally from Singapore, Cassandra Yap is an artist and art director based in London. Her work often explores the juxtaposition between dark and beautiful subjects to create the surreal. Fuelled by her love of pin-ups, the female form and what she describes as an unhealthy obsession with vintage erotica, her photomontage halftone style images are dark, bold and humorous with a kinky edge. Her art delves into reclaiming the narrative around desire, exploring how women experience and express love in both its tender and fierce forms to feel empowered, celebrated and seen. Her work has entered the permanent collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, and she has collaborated with AllSaints for their 30th anniversary (a Serpentine Gallery charity auction in aid of Shelter UK) and with Penhaligon's for their 155th anniversary.
