Inspired by Kristjana’s love of and respect for nature, these two brand new Limited Edition prints feature one of the true heroes of the natural world; the bee. Currently under threat around the world, these superstar pollinators have been given a stunning artistic treatment in Kristjana’s unique, trademark style.

The Queen Bee flies calmly, through cool, light dappled skies, back to the haven of her hive. Crowned and bedecked with aqua gems, there is no mistaking the mistress of the colony. Motifs of melody and sound signify her role in communing with her minions, the part she plays to ensure ordered and effective labour. Yet a tiny timepiece alludes to the transitory nature of her being, and the threat that this species faces and the impact it could have on mankind.
