This series is a protest piece to gun violence and the pervasiveness of gun culture.

Mike collected a bunch of these paper targets during a trip to New York in 2016. After a while the idea of juxtaposing these with gun wielding cartoon characters became the basis for a series addressing the divisive issue of gun control.
