Meeting at Stahl House is a mixed-media painting inspired by the iconic Stahl House in Los Angeles, completed in 1960. Widely considered the touchstone of mid-century modern architecture, the house has left an enduring mark on generations of architects, designers, and filmmakers. 

Fascinated by mid-century design, Nick Holdsworth has drawn visual inspiration from the Stahl House and the popular art imagery of the1960s and 70s. Incorporating airbrushed, pixelated hearts, a recurring motif originating from his cult t-shirt brand of the 1990s, this work seamlessly fuses architectural elegance with pop culture nostalgia.
